Grandi & Sons Metalworks has been a dream of ours, and we are finally making our dream a reality! While you're here, let us share a bit about us and how we got started...
Matt and I (Becca) are college sweethearts and have been a team for 20 years. In 2011 we had our first baby girl, who was called home to live with Jesus right after her birth. One year later in 2012, our first son was born and our hearts were starting to heal. Two short years later, in 2014, we had twin boys who helped fill our hearts, and finished out our Grandi gang of 6! And what a ride it's been ever since...
Matt has been in the welding industry for 15 years, while doing welding repairs and custom fabrication jobs from our home shop for about 11 years. For the past 4 years, he has been putting his artistic abilities to work, creating one-of-a-kind and custom creations for others. He has always had a creative strength, and most recently has been using this while learning to blacksmith, and again creating unique and functional pieces for so many to own and enjoy.
Along with being Matt's wife and mama to our 3 boys, I am his business partner and the behind-the-scenes machine...managing, packaging, and shipping out all of our orders to our loyal customers. I also have some products in the works, so stay tuned for those!
Having 3 boys who love to be in the garage with their Daddy, it became obvious early on, that we wanted something we can do as a family, while hopefully someday leaving behind something that our boys can carry on in the future. They each have had a welding gun in their hands before the age of 5, and have each worked with Matt to each create sculptures of their own design. They are and will always be a big part of this business, and they already have their hands on designs for a future project we can't wait to share with you!
